Product Description
Triethanolamine (TEA) is a widely used organic raw material in the fine chemicals industry, characterized by its mild alkalinity, emulsifying properties, moisturizing effects, and chelating capabilities. It is highly water-soluble, chemically stable, non-corrosive, and not classified as a hazardous material. It is extensively used in cement admixtures, household detergents, cosmetics, textile printing and dyeing, leather chemicals, metal cleaning, water-based coatings, and surfactant synthesis.
For detailed information on the physical and chemical properties of TEA, see 【Addition information】
Main Applications
1. Cement and Building Materials Industry
• Used as cement early strength agents, water-reducing agents, and grinding aids to enhance cement strength, shorten setting time, and improve grinding efficiency.
2.Personal Care and Cosmetics
• Used to prepare surfactants, emulsifiers, humectants, and neutralizing agents for formulations in facial cleansers, lotions, and personal care products.
3. Textile and Dyeing Industry
• Used as leveling agents, softeners, penetrants, and pH adjusters to improve fabric hand feel and dyeing uniformity.
4.Leather Chemicals
• Used as tanning aids, degreasing agents, neutralizing agents, and softeners to improve leather flexibility and texture.
5.Metal Processing and Cleaning
• Used in the formulation of rust inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, coolants, and metal cleaners, offering excellent rust and corrosion protection.
6.Coatings and Organic Synthesis
• Used as neutralizing agents in water-based coatings and resin curing agents, as well as in the synthesis of intermediates for pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and fine chemicals.
