Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) is an important organic synthetic monomer with excellent polymerization and copolymerization properties. It serves as a key raw material for the production of polymeric materials such as polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). It is widely used in adhesives, coatings, textile sizing agents, papermaking additives, films, and other fields. Our company consistently supplies high-quality vinyl acetate and holds all necessary hazardous chemical export certifications. We offer comprehensive logistics and customs clearance services.

Product Description

Vinyl acetate , also known as ethyl acetate or vinyl acetate, is an important organic chemical raw material and synthetic monomer. Vinyl acetate is a colorless, transparent, flammable liquid with a fruity odor. It is a key monomer in the production of polymeric materials such as polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). Vinyl acetate is primarily produced through the gas-phase oxidation reaction of ethylene and acetic acid in the presence of a palladium catalyst. Because it contains a reactive vinyl double bond, vinyl acetate readily undergoes polymerization under the influence of heat, light, or trace amounts of peroxides; therefore, commercial products typically contain polymerization inhibitors such as hydroquinone (HQ) to ensure storage stability.
