Product Description
Dioxane is a heterocyclic organic compound belonging to the ether class. It is a colorless liquid with a faint, sweet odor similar to that of diethyl ether. Dioxane is a highly polar, highly water-soluble organic ether solvent that is completely miscible with most solvents, including water, alcohols, ethers, esters, ketones, and aromatics. It possesses exceptional solubility and demonstrates excellent dissolution and extraction capabilities for resins, oils, polymers, and natural products. It is widely used in organic synthesis, pharmaceutical intermediates, agrochemicals, extraction and separation, electronic cleaning, and as a solvent for specialty coatings.
